I'm watching Mike right now (city fishing) just because it is a fishing show. But I cannot stand him. Does anyone like him. He is such a know it all. Of course I guess he has earned that title with all his wins.  |

When I first started watching the show I did not like him much for the same reasons..After watching him awhile I changed my mind about him....He does a lot of charity work with kids and such...My favorite is Bill Dance.

I have been lucky to fish with him twice back in the 80s. He has a very good sense of humor.

I like him. He is sort of abrasive to some people, but that's how he is. Some people like him some don't. Just like everyone else in the world I suppose.
Many of these "pro" anglers we see on TV are likely very different in person. That's how it goes with anyone whether celeb, pro athlete, or just any person on the net on these fishing sites.
I'm a big fan of MMA....Mixed Martial Arts......and on some online forums, you'll have someone post saying they met so and so.....and they thought they were completely rude and mean. Then you'll have someone else that met the same person and said they are the nicest person they ever met. Always a matter of perspective....and many times the situation.

When dad was still alive, him and Dennis used to make fun of me. I thought Hank Parker was really good looking and liked to watch him

I myself am a big Jimmy Houston fan I would love to go fishing with that man I have his books that are signed by him to me and he just seems to be a very likable fellow

Yes it was and I laugh just thinkng about it. Somewhere in the archives of this computer I have an entire blooper collection of Bill Dance.
