Yeah, a pollywog is a frog. But in Texas, for some reason, we also call these cats pollys. I thought it might just be something I was brought up on. But we showed a pic to Dennis' uncle, and he said, "oh, that's a pollywog." I guess it's a Texas thing.

Now the pic has came up......Yes only the ones I have been catching are more brownish/gold colored. They aren't quite that big either.......babies.

I'm from North East Arkansas and we call what you call pollywogs, tadpoles so it must be a Southern thing...
