 It is healed up. Left with a little scaring .Tender in a couple of places. The nail is still there but will loose it The docs say that it healed better than they thought it would without any surgery being done on it. They still say that I was lucky that I did not loose it. Guess some things do turn out for the good

Probably be tender for a few months yet, you dinged it pretty good there. Glad it is coming along though.

I am also except for the discoloration. It is a brused blue color ( light blue). Lets me know that it is cold outside with the ache all the time..When the finger is cold there is no feeling at all. None,zero,nada!!

The letting ya know it's cold may be a forever thing. Sometimes with bad injuries like that, that happens.

I do to! Still do not know if I can go yet because of work issues..As you know they have changed my days off . They are increasing the build rate and that means that the company which I work for has less time to do the work. That is why the work week was expanded to 7 days and days off expanded to to cover the extra days...I am hopeing that I can have the time off.
