This is a channel cat that I raised. I found him in the Little Missouri River, that's why his name is Missouri. Missouri might have been 3 inches long when I got him. He was swimming by his self a long the edge of the river. Back in forth in the same 4 foot space. It was like he was looking for something. I figured he had gotten separated from his siblings. I was afraid he would get ate, so risen out a 20 oz. mt dew bottle filed it with river water and brought Missouri home. He lived in a 20 gallon tank in the winter and in this kiddy pool covered with chicken wire in the spring thur fall. In the beginning he ate tropical fish flakes, then I feed him floating cat fish food after he got bigger. Until my husband and brother-in-law got to talking about he was almost big enough to eat. Then I loaded Missouri up in an water feel ice chest and took him back to the river where I found him and let him go. They weren't about to eat my pet. Attachments:

I've always loved nature, no matter what kind it is.
When our children were all young (2, 3, & 4) my husband and I would go walking (Scot-ting) in Oct. before deer season comes in, in Nov. We would tell/ask the kids what different tracks were we would come up on. On one of our outings the boys had a stick making small wholes in the ground making their own tracks. I told them their tracks were behind them, they told yes, we know, but they don't match yours, so we're making some that does. Every pair of shoes & boots except, my flip flops I own has spike heels on them.
I'm part Cherokee so I only put weight on my heels, not the toe part of my foot. So my foot print is only my heel (Spike heels) prints.

Back in the Missouri river, where I caught him. I was there everyday feeding him until he stop coming up for food.

Oh Boy, I'll probably get some of this wrong, as I'm not the best at it Either but here goes.
BTW= by the way
LOL= laugh out loud or some variation of that
ROFL- Roll on floor Laughing
ROFLMAO= roll on Floor Laughing my #$% off
IMO= in my opinion
IMHO= in my humble opinion or inmy honest opinion
WTF= where's the Fish (not really but you can likely figure that one out)
BRB= be right back (used a lot in chat sessions)
FYI- for your information (pretty universal)
SNAFU= situation normal, all fouled up
FUBAR= fouled up beyond all recognition
OMG= Oh my Gosh, or another version (happens to be one I dislike because I'm not a fan of taking the Lords Name in vain)
If you have others I can probably tell you what they mean, I just cannot think of them off the top of my head right now.

Thanks,........ I knew what LOL meant. Just not the others.
I text I just use the regular spelling when I do. My Professors at school don't want us using any of the text writing at school. So I don't use it at all........ Not even on my Face Book page. Call me old fashion I guess. No, it was just going to be a pain swapping back and forth with school.
I knew OMG one too. I don't like it either.....I have 3 in their early 20's and none of them use this stuff either or they don't use it around me, even tho they text me all the time. Or I would have heard it before and knew what they meant.........It must be a Northern thing.......

As a general rule I don't use too many of the acronyms or shortcut words. Pretty much FYI and BTW are my only bad habits. I hated english class in school, but as an adult I tend to lean the other way pretty hard and say that I hate poor Grammer and bad spelling as well as poor written communications in general. I have no problem with honest mistakes, I just hate the laziness that so many people exhibit in their Communications.
