+We don't get big un's either. Our biggest is 12 lbs. But we don't fish for anything else really. Well let us do a little figuring here. 12 lbs. at 5 points per lb is 70 points. Five fish limit times 70 . Now that is 350 points. Someone would have to catch at least 4 blues weighing 70lbs each and one weighing 71 lbs to beat your channels..or someone would have to catch a total of 4 shovelhead weighing at least 35 lbs each and one weighing 36 lbs to beat it. Of course one blue or shovelhead could weigh 50 plus lbs......Pretty well evened out I would have to say.....Would have to be careful on what is posted because once posted it stays.....Does one take the chance and post a 30 lb shovelhead and hope to catch at least one weighing 40 lbs to make up the difference? tough decission to make..Then there is the 72 hour time limit to contend with .....It will be a very interresting tourny.....To be sure.....To make it more interresting it could be a two person team effort with a 5 fish limit...Now talk about a handycap!!

I like it as individual. And with that point system it will really even things up for everyone.

I'm reading your mind. I was just telling Dennis that we need to get our money in. Is there gonna be something like a leader board or something? So we know who is in and how we are doing? Just to double check, the pic with the date. You just put the date on a piece of paper? You don't have to use a newspaper or anything. But I guess it'd be hard to read the date on something that little in a picture. That is the beauty of this forum. Everyone is very trustworthy here. And even though, I'd like to win, I will be excited for whoever wins. It's like having a tourney among friends and family. It's all just in fun for me. Yeah, the prize is great, but yes, it will be fun.

There will be a Leader board . Also each person will have a separate place there to post their catches. That way everyone will be able to keep track of who is catching the fish...It will be exciting once it gets going......Did you read about the first and last place prizes? The weight can be wrote on paper with the date and time. One of the small erasible boards from the Dollar Store works very well and can be used over and over. A "CONTROL" item will be given out before the tourney starts. If there is any more questions for anyone I will answer them.
