So where are the cats in cooler temps??? Are they still shallow, or are they heading out deep already?? I figure on warmer days they are still holding shallow.

Watch the water Temps, If they stay above 60, the channels will still be cruising, even if it's 35 out at night. The water cools much slower, and especially this time of year it stay warm with the sunlight and doesn't drop that much at night. We usually catch fish in the Shallows in Ohio clear out to the end of October. I've seen frost in the boat when the fish were biting realloy well.

in the winter we catch most of are fish in 2-12ft this fish in the pics was in about 3 ft.it was 26 degrees and snowing that day Attachments:
