I may have asked this before, but any good remedies for fleas? ?? Using advantage on the inside dogs, and it helps. But I have used all kinds of things on the yard, and nothing seems to help. We have this flea battle every year, and am tired of fleas. We have a large yard. I've used sprays, granuales, dawn, garlic, all kinds of things.

May get a good yard spray and try that...Insecticide and not a weed killer.

My last dog would disappear when the drops came out. Also was claustrophobic, I think. Didnt want nuttin restraining him. No collars, no doors, no nuttin. I read about Brewer's yeat bein a good bug deterant for both people and critters. I looked in the doggy section of wallyworld. Sure nuff it was there. They also had tablets on the people side of the store. I got the people size. I'd crush a tablet and mix it with garlic powder and stick it inna piece of meat and ol' Sadsack wud swaller it whole. Only hadda do that bout four time a summer. Worked great. Least on ticks. Mite work on fleas too. I know I dont seem to get as many skeeters on me when I take the people sized tabs. And I eat enuff garlic without taking any extra.
I now do that with the cats and it seems to help. Ya mite try that on yer doggy for them pesky fleas an see if it helps. I know it wont hurt em none. (The doggy, not the fleas) Meybe if the dog will quit carrying em in yer house, meybe you can get rid of em eventually.

Haven't noticed them in the house yet..We do keep it sprayed though for roaches and ants...
Had a white shepard/husky mix one time a few years back..Every morning when he would go outside he would head for the creek for a swim...LOL this was year round even in the winter...When it was hot he would go swim several times each day...Otis likes getting his baths every couple of weeks. can be talking about baths and he will head for the tub..
