Well, I just let my squash go. These triple digits are really rough. I just can't keep them wet enough, the sun just saps it right out. I've got some in the freezer, so at least I got something out of them.

LOL, Mine are the same way..With the sandy soil and little rain can not water them enough..Enjoyed the ones that I had..Tomatoes doing the same thing...Deer got into the mellons, and had such a good patch of them.

Dennis just couldn't stand it. He has been out there watering them everyday since I gave up on them. So maybe he can save them. We'll see.

Mine bloomed like crazy but never set squash. Burned up, now. Never have gotten any fresh squash yet this year.
How are yours doing? Did he save them? Seems no matter how much water you put on them, they just can't stand up to the heat.

No, he finally gave up and they died. Just way to hot this summer for much of anything. I have some I put in the freezer. Never had a big enough crop at a time to can them. So I'd just stick them in the freezer .
