Ok, we are going to have a huge garden with lots of goodies. We have had big gardens before that were awesome. But we are up for any tips anyone has. When we catch fish, we always bury them in the garden. I save eggshells, coffee grounds, vegetable peels, etc and bury them in the garden. We are going to get a few loads of sand and till it in. Some fertilizer and till in. Then we are thinking about planting on Good Friday.

I plant marigolds in between my tomato plants. They keep the tomato worms off of them. I have only missed one year in 25 years of not planting the marigolds between the tomatoes. The worms ate ever plant I had that year.

I also plant marigolds around the garden. They do seem to help tomatoe plants . Have been thinking about doing a garden this year. I also know that there will be no help with it from the kids. Will put out tomatoes and squash reguardless of the help.
