Beans???????

Putting beans on to cook all night. I usually put salt, picante, bbq sauce and cut up uncooked bacon in there. A little bit of coke too. How do you cook your beans?

Funny story:A few years ago,we were playing cards with some friends. We had the window open, and there were people walking down the street. Dennis got a drink of his coke, and kinda missed his lip. He says really loud, "Good Coke". You know those people were talking about us. lol

Yes this really happened. I told dale that I am looking foward to her beans. I will have an excuse now for what is happening in my gut.

I like mine cooked with ham hocks or the skin from a picnic ham..My Grandmother,Great Aunt and Mother would also pour some "coke"in while cooking them...Sometimes "RC" did not know what a Pepsi was untill I moved here.

They say it is a southern thing to call all sodas Coke. And I do that. I am a die hard Diet Pepsi fan. But I always say Coke.

Up here they call soda ....POP for some odd reason....Me, I always popped someone when they got on my wrong side. Didn't matter if it was the right or left side.
