Bears????

Does anyone have bears where you live? I am watching a special on Discovery about bears. How they are coming closer to people and towns looking for food. They are showing a lot of bear attacks. I can deal with the snakes. That would really scare me to know that while I am fishing, a bear might come up. No thank you. One time we took a trip to Colorado. Went horseback riding. The horses started perking their ears. The leader said, "oh don't worry. They are probably sensing a bear nearby" Don't worry?
I just don't to be arond them. The zoo is enough for me

We have several here. They are protected in Ohio....Our county has been counted as having 9 at the last count...Also have 4 nesting Bald Eagles in our county....

We went fishing at the scioto river at a buddy my dad works with's place and saw a bald eagle. First one i have ever saw. It was pretty neat.

From where you were fishing towards towm about a mile is a nest with a nesting pair. This is the third year that they have used that same nest.
