Went last Saturday with ddog and his dad, didn't find the fish until late but caught a few before we had to leave, We are going to go again this Saturday with my Dad included. It ought to be really tight in the boat with 4 people, but crappie fishing doesn't take much room. I'm hoping the weather doesn't shut them down again.

Should be clear both Saturday and Sunday. I am going to fish somewhere somehow! Will be the first time this year.

Good Luck to you MC, The weather channel cannot seem to make uyp it's mind right now, and either way the wind will be wrong which worries me a little bit.
ddog went to the hospital last night with some ongoing abdominal issues, so it's doubtful at this point that he and his Dad will go, It will also depend on some other factors whether Dad and I go anyhow or skip it. Who knows.

Well, I guess Dad and I are going to try it if the weather isn't to wet. Dad mentioned that we ought to take our catfish rods just in case we get tired of Crappie fishing, I think that's a great idea. We'll see how the day goes, maybe I'll get some pics of whatever we catch. ddog is doing o.k. but not likely to get out of the hospital today.

Yes. Let him know we would love to hear from him. I hope he is feeling ok. He would find a lot of friends here that would take him in with the rest of the family. It'd be nice to hear from him

Thanks DSmith !!!! We don't do a lot of Crappie fishing anymore, but I still love it, and they are really tasty little beggers.
