new place to fish

Mom was talking to a guy she works with the other day about Dad and I and how much we like fishing. He told her if we ever wanted to fish a private pond he had two ponds that hadn't been fished by anyone for about 10 years !!!!!! Dad and I are going to go check them out Friday if we can, see if they are big enough to not have stunted fish. If the fish are stunted, we'll catch some bait and Turtles, if the fish aren't stunted, we'll probably try to get some eating size bluegills and turtles, Either way it will be neat to see what has grown in there in 10 years.

Try the bobbers in the ponds and get some pictures for the web! The BWAB works great in ponds!

It may hold some big cats and bass. You never know.

Don't know if We'll be doing any live Bait fishing, but If we do I'll try out the bobber if I can and get some pics. We usually use jigs for bluegill and any number of artificials for Bass. The turtles we'll catch on bank lines and liver most likely.

Try some crawlers on the bobber with two hooks one below the sinker and one above. Its fun to catch two bass at a time!
