I don't eat hot dogs often. I just think about what is in them. Only eat all beef. Anyway, I usually boil them. We on occasion love them "burnt" with a fork on open flame. Will somebody suggested pan frying them to me. So I did that. I cooked them in the pan until they were kinda burnt. They were awesome. :-[And I didn't have the mess of cooking them on the open flame. I will never boil a hot dog again

When I cook Dogs, I usually stir fry in a wok with some fresh veggies and some sort of Korean sauce recipe. I much prefer Cat for stir fry though, Dog is tough and stringy. ;D ;D My Dad Always said if it was boiled it was a Weiner, if it was cooked properly it was a hot Dog. I prefer to grill them, or pan fry in a bit too much butter. I'm weird in the fact that I prefer the cheap Hot Dogs (And yes I know what goes into them) my absolute favorite way to cook them is on a roller roaster like you see at the gas station. I wish I owned one for football parties. Dave

hot dogs should be steamed and have mustard, onions, pickle relish and seasoned salt on a steamed bun then you are eating a chicago style hot dog ,the correct way to have a dog
