can't log out

I needed to do some things that I needed to log out for. It will not let me log out. Any ideas on why and how to fix it?
It was funny, because I did a search on the web to try to figure out what my problem is. One site said it is like "The Hotel California". You can check in but you can never check out. That is funny.
Anyways, HELP?

Your cookies keep yoo logged in so delete your cookies. When you come back to the forum you need to sign in again!

Thanks. Dennis came home and cleared the cookies, and I could log out. But I lost my homepage. Gotta redo all that.
