Dave, The leader/hook spool looks like line spools with pvc pipe. Is that what it is?

Nope, it's actually a soft rubber that you are able to jab hooks into very easily, I've tried several homemade gadgets to do the same job, but haven't found anything that compares long term or works as well. I have Tackle Buddies everywhere in my boxes with catfish and walleye gear.
