We have had a big ole' shop vac for years. But we keep it out in the workshop to pick up spills of screw, etc. It is a pain to haul it in the house. So I went and got a little 1 1/2 gallon one. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!! I defrosted the freezer today. Just vaced up the water instead of soping it up. Then I dried the foam cover. Then I got in every nook and cranny in the house. My regular vac has a hose, but I am always afraid of picking something up and ruining it. I even vacumed the crumbs out of the fridge. It will be a part of my cleaning routine from now on.

Be careful what you ask. Dale is now planning on using it the next time the lake starts drying up. I think she thinks she can just vaccum a big ol cat right up out of the water. lol
