The last dishwasher I bought got sent home by the I.N.S. Now I have to do most of the dishes Seriously though, Ours is still working, but I do plan to get Susdan a new one this year. The 14 year old one is starting to worry me. I already replaced the pump once, and the racks are starting to shed parts. Glad to hear Lymi is taking good care of you. Dave

I usedta work with a guy that said he steamed crappie fillets in his dishwasher. I since read bout that very thing in some fishin mag. I have steamed fish in a rice steamer. Not bad with a lil lemon garlic an pepper.
Just remember not to put no soap in yer washer when ya steam.

I saw a show somewhere, way back, all about how you can cook all kinds of things in flat foil pouches in your dishwasher, plus put your clean plates in at the same time so they are warm to put your food on when it is done. Looked interesting but I have never tried it, though. That dishwasher sounds terrific! And "clearance" is always the BEST. I haven't been able to use mine for several years, it backs up and dumps. A church friend (electrician) discovered the problem and half fixed it. I say half, three years later, he still has never come back to put the $2 part in the socket to finish fixing it, so the dishwasher, garbage disposal and one side of my sink doesn't work. And the other side is slow.... and ..... I am too cheap to hire an electrician for an hour's wage to spend 5 minutes installing a $2 part! So I wash by hand on one side.

When my old one wasn't working, and I was washing by hand, instead of buying a dish drainer, I just used the dishwasher racks. Dennis said that was a mighty expensive dish drainer. But it worked great. Us women have a way of making do with what we have.
