As ya'll know, we went down to the cabin and tank last weekend. As I've said before, I do like to roam and explore. Well, I found the end of a creek from the lake that is nearby (lake Coleman) There was this old cement boat dock. I figured there might be some big ones there. The fish were really jumping. So I sat on the dock fishing. After a bit, Dennis came down to try it out. I let him sit on the ramp, and I went to walk around the side. When I got off the dock, I noticed that there was a lot of space underneath the ramp, kinda ledged out. I told Dennis that some critters could sure hide underneath that. So, last night I was talking to my brother in law about it. Asked him if they had gone down there to try it out. He said, " You mean that old boat ramp? There is a rattlesnake den under it". And he was serious, not joking around. You can imangine the words that went through my mind.!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 I'm sure glad it's cold enough that they aren't moving around too much yet. I don't think I will try that spot again anytime soon.
