Tentfire's Products will be called "Tentfire's Camp"
I have been working on getting a small site set up for just my "outdoors" products. Geez, even before you get anything on a site, there is so much that goes behind it to set it up. Registered my domain today, but they said it will be about 3 days before it is up. It will be at:
www.tentfirescamp.com
I wasn't thinking about that when I made out my master copies for my labels yesterday and took them in to have some printed. Good thing I only had a few dozen made to try out. I can still use them- the site will be rerouted for awhile, but I will have to go back and make new master copies with the shorter (more professional) domain name. Oh, well, I figure that was a small thing.
On this site I will also be blogging all my camping stories from throughout the years. My stories and my products kind of go hand in hand.
I can't believe how hard my labels were (I am sure I was just making it hard) and how simplistic they ended up being after all that. I have such a BIG handicap in that I cannot draw! I never could. I truly admire people that can. Often times people can't even tell what my stick men are suppose to be, lol. But, for legal sake, I had to some how draw my own labels. I had found a pic I wanted to use, but couldn't use it for commercial purposes. It was only permitted for personal use . So needless to say, I have made a bunch of labels to pick from, and spent days drawing the same little pic over and over, trying to get it just right. I kept some in my computer in case I changed my mind, but, lol, I deleted some that were just so bad I don't want to even see again, lol. My main thought was - bright, but simple. So I have posted here my final label choice. BUT, before I get too many made, I am still open to any ideas, suggestions, changes any of you might have. I have to make a new master copy before I make any more labels any way. And I am going to wait until my site is for sure up before I do that (so I can put the right domain on them), and I know there aren't any problems with the domain or anything. . . . . you never know.
Thanks again . . . . . . . I am really getting excited now!
