Dad and I went after Crappie and white bass yesterday with light tackle and twister tails. Turned loose a lot of Dinks, but glad Ohio has gone to a 9" minimum on Crappie. We did get some nice slabs, and three decent white Bass. Dad caught the channel on a white twister tail and it completely destroyed the spincast reel he was using. I am not a fan of spincast reels for that very reason among others, but Dad still prefers them for light work. The crappie were still 25 foot to 40 foot deep, but by the looks of the females, things will change as soon as the water gaines about 5 degress
