As ya'll know, I am forever weed eating in my yard. We do take pride in how the yard looks. Dennis got it mowed and looking good. The other day, the gas man was marking off the alley. Dennis went back to talk to him. He told Dennis that he didn't realize that there was a park way back here. Dennis said no, it is our yard. He said it looks nicer than the city park. I was beaming with pride. made me feel so great.

The yard tells folks about the ownner. Some times it only will take one person to take care of their yard next thing the whole block is looking good.

Got the trees trimmed today. Dennis knew I was thinking about it and forbid me to get on a ladder. Like that was gonna happen. Had tree limbs rubbing the roof, so I had to crawl up there. It was kinda funny. I didn't tell him any of this. I got out the extension ladder. Kept slidding. Finally I realized that I had it upside down. Didn't know that mattered, but after looking at it , I could see it did. So I got it up there nice and steady and started up. Then it kinda slide apart. Then I remembered on an extension ladder, you have to lock it in place. But finally got everything figured out and got my trimming done. Thought about taking my cell phone up with me. Just in case the ladder fell while I was up there, and I'd be stuck. Couldn't you see that? But then thought knowing my luck, I'd fall and fall on the phone. But I GOT HER DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has a real problem with me sometimes. I do things that I know I shouldnt. That's how my dad was. But it does come in handy for him, don't ya think?
