Hey! This gives me yet another idea (possibly solving a different problem). I have been looking high and low for a 'particular' size tube to make my shaving soaps (as a mold) - been my only hold up in getting them made - want it just right before I put it out there. I will check into this on both ends. Thanks!

I do plan on ordering you soap, so how do you use it for fishing? Do you cut it up with a knife? Does it stay on the hook pretty well? I'd love some info on it.

Glad you asked! All these questions lets me know what I need to add next to the website for it. I will try this (package back), but if it isn't readable, I will just type it out. The web address you see on there, doesn't have the "more information" yet ..... I will be adding that page just as soon as I finish up fine tuning my shipping process (aim to have that finished up today - unless another storm knocks my Internet out again). And yes, it stays on the hook really well. But it IS soap, after many hours, it does eventually dissolve and slip off (that is, only if a fish hasn't gotten it first). But in my tests, I have really given it some hard slings and it stays on really good. Looks like it may be time to invest in a more modern video camera and take some videos of it. Mine is one of those OLD ones you have to hold on your shoulder (VHS). Attachments:

Storms came up and killed my Internet before I finished everyone's shipping emails. I will finish them as soon as I get up. Wind is picking back up and thunder is booming again so I am going to give it up, turn this back off and head for bed.
Hope all of you have stayed safe tonight.

Sweetie, you are sitting on a gold mine there. I bet you could really sell your product. People are really in the market for home made nowadays. But it can be a real headache to try to go into business also. It can be really scary. Some people can ruin something they really enjoy doing by making it a business. And yet others enjoy it even more by marketing it. I know you will excell in whatever choices you make

Awww..... thank you so much, hotcakes!! I seem to have a big problem with killing myself with lack of confidence. People around here are catching fish on it, even in places that catfish hadn't been biting, yet I still keep doubting myself. I get afraid that I will pour money into supplies, then nothing will sell .... or afraid I will take off too fast and won't be able to keep up. But I do have my 3rd flavor almost dry now and getting ready to mix up my 4th this week. I have had so many snags & snarls along the way that certainly haven't helped. And during that time I got ahead of myself. I was sick for awhile and broke my leg .... twice. But my mind kept ambitiously going .... I kept thinking I would be fine the next week and get things made and ready, but my body just wasn't keeping up with my mind's ambitions. I felt like I let people down. But while my mind was going full force and my body couldn't move much, I sat here researching and working on my product formulas, and now I am pouring them all up like crazy! ;D I have soap curing in every corner and the scent of raw soap is lingering in the air. So there WILL be more up here shortly. Spent most of the day, today, working on labels. I hate that part. But I have learned that it is as important as what is in the package. As for that Gold Mine .... I keep saying that I feel like I am sitting on top of one and can't get anyone to loan me a pick. Over the years, I have learned that all too well. So what I have done is, I have set aside knitting, the one hobby that I find most relaxing, and refuse to sell it in quantity. I tell people that if they see something knitted on the shelf for sale (usually wash cloths or dish rags), they are welcome to buy it, but I won't take orders for it. It is my relaxation therapy and I won't turn it into something I have to push on. But all my soaps. I LOVE making them in quantity! So all that works out. Thanks a bunch for the words of confidence!
