Does anybody know anything about english ivy? We have a 10 x 20 front porch. It has lattice on it. Over the years, I have trained english ivy on it. With the wet winter we had, it has never been prettier. It has covered a large area. Now it is turning yellow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm broken hearted, it's taken me years to get it like this. Why is it turning yellow? ? If it dies out, it is gonna be a real pain to cut it off of that lattice where I have weaved in and out.

My mom's yucca plant did that this year. It was big and beautiful, then all of a sudden it turned yellow and looked terrible! Upon extra close examination, she discovered that the roots and top of the ground around it were saturated with some kind of tiny little bugs!! They were sucking the life out of the plant! When she hit it with insecticide, they all just kind of 'melted' and disappeared. It is still sick looking, but trying to perk back up now.
