Wow, thanks for thinking of me! Yes, I am fine. Just a little bit of water in under my back door. No other damage except something (someone?) stole a chicken in between storms. The storm pressure was pretty heavy for about a week and a half or so before this system came through. Brought on a nice long, FULL BODY migraine that lasted most of that time. Staring at the computer screen made it worse so I just took a break from the computer until it all passed. MUCH MUCH better now! I have had these since I was about 5 or 6 years old, though and have learned how to 'nurse' them to make them bearable. I have had them so long they have just become part of life and I have my altered routine I go with them when they hit, which includes keeping to myself, keeping quiet, low light, herbal teas, and several 'lay down eyes closed' breaks throughout the day. They aren't near so bad or long as they use to be. And I feel really good today.

Glad to hear from you. I was worried about you. I'm sorry you've been sick, but at least you didn't flood out. I've had migraines since I was 15, so I can understand. I have such a fear of them. I get the squiqqly, bright lights with mine. Kinda like you looked in the sun. I can go for long periods without them. Then I will go through stages where they come in clusters. I can get 2 or 3 a day for several days. They drain me so bad. It is really scary when they hit when I am driving, as I can't see very good with all the spots and all. But like you, I just learn to adjust. I have had to go to the er to be knocked out, but not lately. Sometimes they don't hurt so bad anymore, just can't see. Then other times, they pound me. It's funny, cause Dennis can almost always tell when I am having one. He says I just get this look about me. He amazes me, because he will look at me and ask if I am having a migraine, and is usually right. So yeah, you got a very understanding buddy in that problem.
