River Walk

Was watching a program on Public Television today..It was about the River Walk in San Antonio, Texas. The new walk is so different from what it was when I was playing there a few years ago..Well about 50 of them anyway...Back then it was a typical river bank in any downtown area anywhere..Dirt pathways and litter left behind by people fishing or just strolling under the trees along the river's bank...Today it is very different and has been re-conditioned with many shops and restaurants on both sides of the river...Back as a child there were many little beer joints and bars with a few cafes scattered about...Now there are many 4 star places to eat...Here is a link to visit this fantastic walk. That is where Dennis and I went on our honeymoon. 32 years ago as of last month.
