SPRING FISHING TOURNEY RULES
1. Catfish World Catfish Tournament is open to any member with a VALID avatar as defined in the forum rules.
2. Tourney will start on September 1, 2010 @12:01 A.M. and will end on November 30, 2010 @ 11:59 P.M. (Eastern Time).
3. Members may continue to enter the tournament until 11:59 pm. September 30 2010, all entries will be accepted based on Postmarked Date of Mailed entries, or date received of hand delivered entries.
4. All entries must Be submitted with Full name and mailing address of participant as well as catfish world User name.
5. It will be a (5) five fish total weight (plus Bonus fish) caught by Rod and Reel ONLY. No other type of catch is permitted. All fish must be caught from public fishing waters. ( NO PAY LAKES or PRIVATE WATER FISHING PERMITTED).
6. All submissions must be posted within 72 hours of the date caught. ( NO SUBMISSIONS AFTER 11:59 P.M. on November 30, 2010) Two photos will be required for each fish.One photo must show the member, fish and control item including the date and time. One photo must have the fish with scale weight showing, date, time and control item.( Date and time may be written on paper with the control item). All Channel Cats, Blue Cats, and White Cats must include at least one Photo that Clearly shows the Fish's anal Fin and Tail shape. You may submit more than the two minimum photo's if needed.
7. Fish weighing less than 1/2 lb will be rounded down; fish weighing 1/2 lb and above will be rounded up to the next lb. Points will be assigned as follows:
Blue Cats(Ictaluras furcatus) -------------1 point per lb.

( Tie breaker will be the earliest time of the last fish submitted by the ones involved in the tie )
8. Anyone who has 3 or more catfish entered may also enter a bonus fish Either a Black Bass (Largemouth, smallmouth, or Spotted), crappie, or Bluegill. Bonus fish will be awarded points at the following rate:
Bass------- 3 points per pound
Crappie----10 points per pound
Bluegill-----10 points per pound
All bonus fish points will be awarded in addition to the 5 Fish limit of Catfish. NO CULLING will be allowed on Bonus Fish.
9. Pay out will be 100% of the entry fees paid.( 50-30-20 if more than 10 entries; 60-40 of less than 10 entries ) Total money received will be posted for public viewing at all times.
Additional prizes will be announced and awarded based on Donations.
10. Entry fee is $10.00 paid by U.S. Postal Money Order OR Cash for hand delivered entries (Please do not mail cash).
Money order made payable to D. Smith, 111 Vista Dr., Tye, Texas, 79563. Must be received by September 30, 2010. Recruiter No name will be entered into the tournament until their entry Fee is received.
11. Catfish World, Staff or Members will not be held responsible for any accident while involved in this contest......
12. Participants may Cull 1 catfish at any time during the tournament, ONLY ONE CATFISH MAY BE CULLED.
13. When money is received, members name will be posted to the leader board. Each member will have their own control word or phrase. Members will be pm'd with their personal control item. In addition, your control word or phrase will be posted beside your name on the leader board. Remember the Control item must appear in the photo!!
14. Anyone caught violating the rules in any way, will be immediately removed from the tournament, and will forfeit all fees paid, their status as a Catfish world member will be evaluated by the Staff at that point and appropriate actions taken.
15. Any young family member of a CatFish World member, aged 10 years old or older, may enter this tourney with a paid fee.
