It is a topographic map published by the U.S.Geological Survey Dept. on goolgle. You can enter a state ,city,county,name of a lake,etc,etc and a satellite photo will pop-up.There are controls and you can move around the map..Depending on when it was last updated ,you can look down on your house. Some will show people ,cars swingsets right in the yards.We use it all the time when we are going someplace new to fish....
