Ok, the other day I was making a pie that had gelatin in it. Didn't have any , so was scanning the computor to see if there was anything I could substitute.

meat, ground bones, cartiledge ,etc of animals.!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never knew!!!!!!!!!!! I thought it was made of plant parts or something. I couldn't believe it. I read several sites to make sure I was reading right, and I was, every site said so.

The same as Knox Gelatin except it is colored and has flavor added. Did you also know that jello mixed with 3 qts of cold water makes a good sub for koolaid and you do not have to add any sugar?
