Well, our little friend is back!! Got home from work today, and the house reeked of skunk and all around the house. So I finally went outside and waited for the grandkids to get here from school. When they got here at 3, I was sitting outside, and one of them ran into the house. She came running out, "Granny, what is wrong with your house? It's horrible" 
:DDennis gets home at 4, so we just stayed outside, even went for a nice walk. When it was time for Dennis, we sat back down next door. He went walking up on the front porch and just yelled out, "oh my " When we went to town, the car even smelled like it. So we went to a farm and ranch store. They sold us a bottle of fox scent (if you know what I mean) They said to put it on cotton balls under the house. But to wear gloves and be prepared because it REALLY stinks. Boy howdy, does it ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I got that done, and we put a live trap at the front with sardines in it. Man oh man, I hope we get that thing. Meanwhile, we gotta sleep here tonight, and it is just nasty smelling in here.
Ok, now here is the really funny side to the whole thing. When bad things happen, sometimes you have to find the funny. We went to Wally world to get some air freshners. I turned my head and realized that my tshirt actually smelled like skunk!!!!!!!!!! I didn't notice anyone avoiding me, but when I smelled the tshirt, yeap, there was the stench. Then I realized I was wearing my Texas Rangers tshirt. Texas rangers tshirt/skunk smell. I asked Dennis if that meant that the Rangers were gonna get Skunked"
