Really, that sounds perty good. I have wondered if you could make one without the nuts and it taste the same? I just can't hardly eat anything with nuts on it anymore. And if theres a piece of a shell inna semi load, I'll get it.

Pecan pie is my favorite and I can not eat nuts . Would like to find a bakery around here that could make this pie for me..

I never thought of trying that. May give it a try for Christmas. Was gonna bake a Walnut pie using the pecan pie recipe and substitute walnuts instead. Although...........................if I make a pecan pie, my dad'll do just about anything for me, ROFL.
