Had some old diced up onions at work and I just happened to have taken some taters tonight. So I sliced em up and had taters an onions fried in bacon grease. Rosie brought Some kinda baked chicken breast and green beans and mac and carrots. So we hadda good feast tonight.

Yep, I do and it does. ;D I get a "better" meal if I use the crockpot cause I put the veggies in stuff then. Otherwise sometimes it just seems too much of a bother for just me. Plus I love to smell dinner cooking all day or all afternoon, and I can use cheaper cuts of meat cause it tenderizes it so good.

Am planning on doing a roast in mine tomorrow when I get home from work. Carrots celery,onion and patatoes. Like buzzy says I also can use a cheaper cut of beef..

Just havin' baked beans and putting some linguica in em tonight. May make some cornbread, yeah, that'd be good.

Buzzy, That sounds good! Having beef cotto salami sandwiches with mayo and velveta cheese. Course I have the iced tea to drink.

Left over linguica and scrambled eggs for dinner tonight. gotta sore throat, nothing serious, but keeping my foods soft to keep from irritating it. figure if I keep staying inside I'll be okay by Tuesday when it's time fer tutoring again.

Made Chicken Spaghetti last night. Made me hungry for regular spaghetti. So that is on the menu tonight.

Do you use ground chicken or just cut up chicken ds? I used ground chicken one time and it was too dry, so now I cut the chicken up in bite-sized pieces. I got a hamburger for dinner tonight, and had that with spinach salad after I got home from tutoring.

Sounds good ds. I gotta pork stew going right now, can't smell it yet (in the crockpot). I figger long about noon I'm gonna start twitching my beak and drooling, LOL.
