Hey, ya gotta try it to know. My daughter was complaining to me the other day that she just couldn't get anything right in the kitchen lately. I told her that I do consider myself a good cook. But I can also go for a few days in which nothing seems to come out right. Don't know why that is, but it happens.
Bought a bunch of groceries today to make some Christmas goodies. Hopefully they will be good

If the steak is rare, rare, rare I'll be there before you can read this. ;D If it is chicken fried I'll also be there. The okra is fine any way you care to fix it....

The steak sounds good, but I just never developed the taste for the okra. Have some pot stickers and lumpia that I made earlier.

Am going to try and fix a pot of beef vegetable soup. Am going to use hamburger for the beef instead of soup beef cubes....Has anyone tried it made this way? It is good! I do not drain the liquid from the hamburger after cooking it before putting in the vegetables.

Yep I've made it with burger before. Turns out good. I don't drain the liquid, but do skim off the fat. Today is tutoring day so gonna get a bacon cheeseburger and fried zucchini on the way home from Pete's my favorite burger place in town.

The fried zucchini sounds really good. Haven't had any since this past summer.

I love it, for me it is a treat. They give you such a huge order of it that there's always plenty left to take home and reheat/re-crisp in the oven for later or the next day. Tonight (and for the rest of the week) it's gonna be either stew or soup. Rain expected for the rest of the week.

Kraut and Kelbasa, Be the first time I've made it since I found out I was Diabetic, so not going to have a lot of Mashed taters with it like I normally would. Still ought to be good though. Dave
