I've always eaten the seeds, not worth the trouble to spit em out.

I bought one. I'm gonna have to try eating the seeds and see what I think. The picture even shows the seeds sprinkled on a cheesecake.

I never tried one until I was an adult and most of my kids were teens. We always spit out the seeds and it was such a hassle, we didn't buy very many of them. Then I saw that little leaflet in the store (after my kids were all grown and gone, of course) and it said to eat the seeds. So I googled it and, sure enough, you are suppose to eat them and they have LOTS of healthy benefits. Now that I don't have enough strong teeth to eat them this way, I know this, darn it all! They sure are good, though. I especially love them tossed into a big chef salad.

Just goes to show that we are never too old to learn new things. I like them but still spit out the seeds as I did as a kid...Just hate to pay for something which were growing in the back yard as a kid...We were told not to eat the seeds as then there would be pomegranate/watermelon and grape plants growing out of our ears.
