Ok, I know my older pug has a bad attitude and we really watch her around strangers. Don't know if she'd bite or not, but think she might. Well, my little Hyde shocked me. I never thought she would be a biter. My daughter and family were out with a friend the other day. We had all ended up in the bedroom looking at the computor. So when the friend headed to the living room, I saw Hyde bite him. He didn't know cause he had on jeans and boots. I was shocked. Well, tonight they were out with a different friend. I told Dennis to watch Hyde just in case. Well, when he started out the door, Hyde took off trying to bite him. I never thought she would bite. I guess I was wrong. That worries me, we will have to put her out or something I guess when company comes. Both dogs will bark non-stop when a stranger is in the house. There is NO keeping them quiet. I wish there was some way to stop her from biting. I hate that.

Haven't had that issue with Otis. It may be that they are getting older and more protective of you and Lymi..

We don't have much company. Maybe they don't like strangers. It's good to know they will protect us , but I just hate that when people visit, we have to put them outside. I was talking to a friend about it and she suggested that we put beware of dog signs up to protect us if they should bite someone.

You may want to do that . If for no other reason than piece of mind...
