You've got my vote, MC. And if you're name isn't on the ballot, I will just write it in.

Whoo hoo. Now we get to go to a concert on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!! Diamond Rio. I'm not real big into country music, and I just know of a couple of their songs. They are in town doing a benefit for the Rehab center. The company I work for bought up a bunch of tickets and gave them to us!!!!! :)I am excited just to get out. We never go anywhere except fishing, the store , or the kids. I told Dennis that I am counting this as a date. ;D ;D We are actually going out!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the "date" has changed a little. I got to thinking about it, and thought our 8 and 10 year old granddaughters would get a kick out of going. Then I also got to thinking that our son has his 24th birthday on Saturday too. And he loves concerts of any kind. So I managed to wrangle 3 more tickets for free. So now it will be Dennis and the girls and our son. They are all excited to go. I bought a Diamond Rio cd today to play for the grandkids so that they will know some of the songs they sing. They loved the songs. I'd grab them and dance around the room with them. They are really worked up and excited. It's gonna be fun. We are thinking about letting them spend the night, and taking them to Ihops in the morning. They've never got to go out and eat someplace like that for breakfast. I think it will be a great weekend for them. It's the most fun when the young uns are excited like that.

Am glad that both you and Dennis get to see them as much as you do. They will enjoy the concert as much as you will....

That sounds like a great date ds, and the girls will absolutely LOVE Ihop for breakfast. I used to take my g-kids there and they always got the pancakes with the whip cream and cherry face on it, no matter if we were there for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

concert was pretty good, when they sang. Since it was a telethon, they did other things too. Diamond Rio opened with a couple songs. But then they would do other fund raising things, and other, locals would sing. We ended up taking 2 granddaughters, our son and our daughter. It was being aired on tv here and in several states. It was really interesting watching the cameras and all the behind the screen stuff going on. but it was kinda disappointing they weren't singing longer at a time. Dennis, me and one of the granddaughters wanted to stay. It was 7 to midnight. But the others were getting restless. We finally left about 9. Diamon Rio had done 3 short sets by then. I am now a big Diamond Rio fan though. Bought a couple their cd's. they might convert me back to country music. But, all the tickets were free, so who's complaining. ;D ;D

We missed I believe. We figured they would sing it last, and didn't figure the kids would last to midnight. I love that song. Can really make my eyes water. ;D
