;D Started an early Spring cleaning this weekend as opposed to going out to play pool. Sorta wish now that I played pool instead. Started in the bathroom by getting rid of things which I would never use which belonged to the girls and Margie. Had told the girls to come by and take what they wanted This has been several times since Thanksgiving and always got an OK but they never showed up..Asked the daughter - in - law if she wanted any of the curling wands, hair blowers etc. Had not ever stopped by either. ;D Guess now they can go to the Salvation Army to buy them back. Altogether there must have been around a dozen of different kinds which are no longer here..Almost finished with the bath. Need to get some CLR to remove the mineral deposits in the john and shower / tub. Elbow grease would not remove it all. Bedroom mostly finished with a few things still left to clean out and get rid of which I do not want to keep around. Started in the kitchen this morning around 4:00 with the fridge.. Wild animals are going to have a feast with things which were tossed / dumped down by the pond for them. After taking a break I'll start in on the pantry getting rid of cangoods which I will never open or eat. These I'll take to my son and daughter-in-law for them to use or give away to their neighbors.. After all this I'll now have to go to the store and get things which I'll fix for myself. Guess last will be the livingroom to clean again. Can not understand how one person and his pug can get a place so dirty in just a few days..Seems like all I get done away from work is more work at home..

LOL, I agree, sometimes one person makes a bigger mess than 2. Prolly cause you only have to worry about you (and your pug) seeing the mess, so you let it go longer. I try to stay in one room to do my messes (my craft/computer room). Got a TV in there too, so can watch my movies as I putter around. Do my reading in bed, fix my meals in the kitchen, but eat them in my craft room most times. So other than when I track stuff into my livingroom from the outside, my living room, dining area and kitchen stay pretty clean. Course, my place is only bout 900 sq. ft. too.

I get carried away at auctions because I buy things which I really do not need. With just Otis and me here it still needed to be cleaned. The garage is what really needs it!

My dad's two garages (yep, count em, two) are packed to the rafters. One he uses as a "shop", the other is where he parks the Tahoe and the tractor. LOL. I can never find anything in them, less I'm lookin in his toolbox, but he can go right to anything. At least it's organized and not just thrown in, you just hafta know where to look, LOL

What I love about spring cleaning is sometimes I can even find the stuff I put away for "safekeeping in a secure place" ROFLMBO

We have a workshop. It seems like everything ends up in it. I will clean it up once or twice a year. And before I know it, we have cluttered it up AGAIN. Never ending.
