If you get poison ivy or oak, take a banana and lay it out in the sun and let it turn black, then peel it, throw the nanner away, then rub the inside of the skin on the ivy and let it dry. It will dry it up.

My folks use a cream called Technu. Works great. I never have bananas in the house unless for a cake or bread, but then I make sure to avoid the poison oak places on their property.
