Watching a new show on Animal Planet: Infested. That is a creepy show. So far, have been rats, bed bugs, scorpians. There is still a couple shows to go tonight. So many "pests" are sooo hard to get rid of. I am dreading flea season again. It is a fight every year, and we end up loosing. And I will embarass myself and say we are forever fighting roaches too. We have tried everything we can think of. Sometimes, we will almost get them all, but they come back. I would love to finally get rid of them. I'm not spotless, but I am neat and clean.

eeeeewwwwwwwwwww. Now they are showing some people whose yard is infested with snakes. Yuck. They are finding dozens of snakes a day. Garter snakes. Yes they aren't dangerous. But I'm sorry, NO THANK YOU.

If you really want to get rid of roaches, catch all the centipedes you can and turn them loose under your house. Centipedes will rid a place of roaches and ants and then go away looking for food somewhere else. I grew up in a town with a permanent Roach infestation, and we learned lots of trick for keeping them away. Dave

So Dave, you're telling me I can't throw the centipedes that come in my front door in the neighbors yard anymore? LOL, I hadn't heard of that, but I'll remember it. No roach problem around here (in 10 years I've lived here), but most people up here have a problem with ants. I'll have to tell them bout the centipedes.
I'm with dsmith, don't care if a snake is poisonous or not, ain't coming on my property and living to tell about it! I try not to watch the shows like that dsmith, gives me nightmares, though the spiders and snakes are the only thing I'm really fraid of, the rest just giving me chills.

I say I won't watch those shows because I get nightmares too. But then, I end up watching them. Don't know why I do that to myself. This weekend, the sci-fi channel did a whole day of snake movies. Dennis watched them as we played some computor games. Then this on animal planet. I've had my fill of snakes.

Only spiders and some insects bother me, and usually only then if the end up on me or suprising me. Snakes rats etc. don't worry me one bit, I grew up catching every snake I could find and taking it home. Dad was always telling me to turn them loose.
Centipedes are a hard core carnivourous predator that live completely on other insects, My personal opinion is that God put them here to keep roaches from taking over the world. By the way on Venom week a few years ago they showed a centipede attack kill and eat a full grown Tarantula in South America. If that doesn't give you the willies you are tougher than me. Dave

Yeah, that would do it Dave, but on the other hand I'd probably be sitting there rooting for the centipede I hate spiders so much, LOL.
