That is it!!!!!!!!!! I must insist on a new lawnmower.  Dennis has his riding mower for the large part of yard. But my little push mower is just a pain. It is not that old. But when I finally get it running, it just putters at a very slow run. If I hit much grass at a time, it dies. Then takes forever to start again. Then just put put puts again until I hit another SMALL clump of grass. Like I say, it is not very old, but I've had it |

Sounds like condensation in the tank and a dirty filter...Drain the tank , use a bastry bulb from the kitchen to finish getting all liquid from the tank. Remove the filter soak in clean gas and shake /squeese several times ,remove and squeese and let air dry. take about 1/2 oz of clean oil and saturate the foam filter, squeese out excess oil and re-install....If the filter is not the foam type replace the filter with a new one....If that doesn't take care of it then the flywheel shear pin may be partly sheared causing it to be out of time... If Lymi doesn't know how to check that out then load it in his truck and both of you bring it up to me. I'll have it running in less than an hour.....

Dennis told me today that one of the things it needs is a new spark plug. But I think it is more than that. We wil probably try your advice mc. Can't hurt. Will let you know how it goes.

An yeah, I do gotta goat you can have. Cept with one of them reel mowers, ya mite get more cuttin done and loose less rose bushes.
