Bunny (the Boxer puppy) has loved my oldest daughter's cat (14-year old Frisky) ever since she was born. She is MUCH bigger than this now and still adores the cat. Tonight she came in from outside, walked up to Frisky, all excited to see her .... started giving her kisses and nearly knocked her off the bed with a slurp. Attachments:

That is so cute. Beautiful dog. Unfortunatly, our dogs kill cats. Our daughters cat had 2 different litters. They got in the yard with the dogs and they killed them. It was totally horrible. I mad her take the cat to her house. I just couldn't deal with that happening anymore. It is horrible trying to save them, but being too late. Nothing I want to ever experience again.

That would be something to see, MC. And as for the cat, I would be glad to send you one. Mine just had kittens a few days ago, and the other will any day. dsmith, that is so horribly sad! I am sorry to hear that. I do understand, though. I have had it happen, too. The mama dog I have I got when she was already grown and she would kill a cat in a heart beat. She almost did one of last year's kittens when it got in her yard. It was use to the other dog being nice to it. I actually pulled it out of her mouth! Took it a few days, but it finally came around, and had a nick out of his ear to show for it. I have scolded her so many times for trying to get one of them that now, if she is in the house and one gets close, she will head for it, I will holler at her, and she will stop and hang her head as she walks past, but I still don't trust her around them. I keep them seperated and the electric fence helps a lot.
