I found an awesome link on Facebook. It is the Texas parks and wildlife. I have hunted for years for a site that talks about fishing in our area. This is the one. I love it. People are really posting on it about area fishing. Mc, they also have an awesome map of Kirby. They went and shot electric charges in area lakes to see where the fish are and how big, etc. They put up the map of their findings. I am so thrilled with this site.

That sounds like a really neat site! I will have to check and see if Oklahoma has anything like that.

I can help you out with facebook if intereste. All you do is go to facebook, and sign up . Really easy. I love it because I have found a lot of people I have lost touch with. In the meantime, if you want to see the link I am talking about, it is only on facebook. You can Margie's facebook page. Click on her friends. Then click on me. Then, it will show my "wall". You can click on the Parks and wildlife link there to see it. Got It? I could sit up you a facebook page for you if you want. I don't think the ip adress matters. Only thing about facebook, you have to be very careful of hackers. I got hacked once. Since I have been very careful. I have some "friends" that I went to school with. So I know that if it shows that they suggested something for me to click on, I don't do it. That is how they get you. And my normal friends on there, I know if something doesn't make sense that they say, I don't reply. One time, a friend of mine made a post asking me to click on something that didn't make sense for her. So I posted and asked her what school we went to together. Never got a reply, and I asked her about it later. She said, nope, it wasn't her. There are a few tricks like that. I'm sure Hilly also has some facebook advice for you. Dennis doesn't have one. A lot of his teachers he works with are my friends. So I am always telling him things going on at his school that he didn't know about. If ya want to know more, let me know, or want me to set it up for ya, let me know.

Totally up ta you. I joined it back when it was still perty fresh. Didn't have all the hoopla on there that is now. Wasn't all them games and such on there. Was a few apps, but the more stuff ya clicked on the slower it got. Now I don't think I got any apps allowed. And I block all the games. Back then it was just a few of my regular internet friends that were on there. Then I'd get folks that wanted to be a friend. I'd write em back and ask em whyfer and who they was. If I didn't get an answer, I wouldn't accept em. I didn't know anyone from the net by their real names. I have since met a few (a danged few) from there that are good folks. I don't use my full name as many, er, most on there do. I have perty much personal info like email an such set to private. I use it mostly to post pics of fish and my kids and to make idiotic comments. If ya do set one up, I would suggest having Dale set ya up so she can block the stuff ya don't need. Then ya gotta make sure it stays blocked cuz every time they upgrade, they reset stuff.

I don't put my real name on the net anywhere, I use my nickname and also never put my true birthday oin it. The less people know the less likely I am of getting my identity stolen. I got on facvebook so I could be in contact with my relatives and friends. Had some really peculiar people try to befriend me, but if I don't know them I ignore them. I have also blocked all the games so no one sends me that stuff, well they may send it but I don't get them.

Also, I don't put my addy or phone number. Or where I work. I don't even have the town I live in. I think people are just asking for trouble that put all that personal info. I have all games blocked too. Except family fued. I do love playing it among friends.

Back when MSN had groups that were kinda like forums, a bunch of us were chatting one night bout personal info being on the web. several of the old gals said no one could find em. I told em anyone could find em if one was to read everything they had posted. Just to make a point. Using what lil info one had posted and her personal email that she had sent me, I sent her a map pin pointing her house. She freaked out! I told her to take her real name off her email account and to never type where she lived. And just use alil common sense when she posted and or filled out stuff. Them kids ( and older folks) on FB have no sense it seems. Common or otherwise. They must think it'll only happen to the other person.

There is an excellent article in this months Readers Digest about all of that. Big brother and all. Tells how you can be tracked on the computor no matter what you do. They can track you by your cell phones, and can track all the phone calls you make. I'd like to post that article here, but don't think it would be allowed by copyright and all. If you get hold of a readers digest, it is very worth reading.
