thank you for the welcome . i live in IL. I fish the sippi and IL. Rivers for big channel cats And i am always trying to get a big flathead wile i am at it.

I dunno what a catalba wurm is, but mater wurms are grate bait! You shud try em, an there easy to pick.

I lived next door to a catalpa tree when I was growing up. Those worms were the best fish bait! I just couldn't stand to put it on the hook myself, lol. Those worms, with that big ole stinger thingy were really scary looking. I am looking for a tree to plant here to get some more started. Had one tree, but someone carelessly cut it down. Welcome, channelcat, this is a really fun site!
