Happy fourth

Everyone have a great and safe fourth of July. Most of the fireworks shows here have been cancelled due to the drought. They are posting "No tolerence with a $1,000 fine if caught shooting them. No problem here, I am scared of them. But we have neighbors that shoot them all hours of the night, good to know (hopefully) they won't this year.
The store is closed Sunday and Monday. I am really happy about it. Being manager, the girls are calling me all the time after I get home and asking things. One of them actually gave my number to a customer the other day, who in turn called me at home. I told her to NEVER do that again. So I watch the clock until 7 when the store closes. At 7, I know I won't get anymore calls. So I have 2 days in which I am actually gonna be off work when I am at home and don't have to worry about that blasted phone. Whoo hoo ;D ;D ;D

Hope your 4th is a good one, we have people blasting them off all around us, now. I just took the last little package of black cats out and lit them off, they were probably 30 yrs old or betterr. Good thing is they are all gone now. Some nieghbors are shooting off a lot of them, I would guess several 1000 bucks worth.

I had a really enjoyable Independence Day this year. Our group wasn't near as big as it usually is, but it was much more enjoyable. I really enjoyed getting to spend some time with my granddaughters. We weren't sure until the last minute if we were going to get to shoot off fireworks or not, but we woke up to a good shower that day, there were no additional restrictions. Now we are all dried out and desperate for rain again. Some of my full-size trees are even struggling, now.
dsmith, I hope you got to really enjoy those 2 days off. Can't believe they gave your home number to a customer. At least, you can't say you don't feel needed, lol.

Was on vacation but could not really enjoy it because of the air quality and had to spend most of the time inside.
