When we were headed into Lincoln, and Ruidosa, it is a very high mountain. They ski there if you are unfamiliar with it. Well, there have been lots of fires in Mexico. We came around the corner, and I told Dennis, "oh my , that's a big fire". He said, "No dear, those are clouds". I couldn't believe we were driving up with the clouds. But we were.

I lived in Alamosa, Colorado a few (in the late 70's) years ago there was snow on the tops of the mountains in July and August. That was a awesome place no air conditioners in any house. It rain every day at the same time in San Luis Valley which Alamosa is hub of. It started snowing the 1st day of Oct. that year.

I for sure ain't no cold weather girl. Born and raised in Texas, and hate the cold. I feel so bad for the northeners with all this hot weather. I've heard they don't have a/c up there as they don't need it. I'm sure these hot temps are really hard on them. It's hard on us, and we are pretty much used to it.

I was born and raised in NE Arkansas where it gets cold, with a lot of snow and ice. Which may be on the ground 4 weeks or longer at a time. I move to this part of Arkansas 20 years ago. So I'm custom to hot humid weather. So now when we go to NE Ark. for Christmas I freeze to death. Even here when the temp. gets in the 50's I freeze too. I'm a small person and can't get enough cloths on to stay warm and still be able to move. I walk like a zombie.
