The Race Is On

This snake is after my floater. He was on the other end of the pond until I cast out. Then it was like a race to see what had hit the water.

Oh my Oh my Oh my. :oAnd I thought our snakes were big. They say most of the ones at the lake we usually fish aren't venomous. What is that one. Is it a cottonmouth. They are pretty agressive.

Yes, cottonmouth/water moccasin. They're a lot bigger than this one in the pond.

I carry rubber boots in the trunk of the car. To put on if I'm in a grasses place fishing. If I'm goin' get bit and not see what bit me.
