Does anyone have the energy saving washer that uses less water? We needed a new washer, and got one. I am really nervous about it. I have been told it cleans great even with less water. Have to use "he" soap in it. I didn't want a front loader. Don't want to stoop over to load and unload it. So got a top loader. It doesn't have a center spindle in it!!!!!! That's just weird. It is a Maytag which should be good. We got it at Home Depot, and they were all out. So it is on order, should be here in about a week. I hope it is a good one.

Maytag are about the best. I have both Maytag washer and dryer. the dryer just stopped drying and am planning on it being fixed or replaced with another Maytag. They are supposed to be the best brand on the market. I do not use front loaders either. Not sure how good the "green" washers are.

We have maytag neptune series washer and dryer, they are front load high effeciency and we really like them. Have had them for about 4 or 5 years, and not a single problem of any kind. the front load doesn't bother us. What I like the most os the high capacity of the He appliances. we can put what used to take us three loads in them, and wash them with less water than one load used to take. Everything comes out really clean with minimal soap and water used.

That's good to know. Thanks for all the info. It is a large capacity. For some reason, our old one does large loads, but not extra large. Don't know what we were thinking. We made sure it would do really large loads. Like to wash comforters, etc. I have been told that it is great for washing pillows.
