Well, as ya'll know, we have had nothing but trouble with the new stove we bought in November at Lowes. We had finally had enough. Dennis went in Saturday and talked to the manager. We were surprised at his response. He offered to replace the stove. With a better stove. A little bigger and self cleaning. This was Saturday. He said he would have it delivered on Sunday (New years day). Wow. Of course we ok'd it, so I now have another new stove. No problems with this one. He did admit they sold us the floor model without telling us so. We waited 3 weeks for it to be delivered, so we assumed it was a new one. So we feel like Lowe's really made it right in a great way. Very impressed.

Lowe's is usually pretty good, My dad had a friend who got her water heater replaced without having a reciept (had young children and the water heater quit) she sent for the credit card records to verify her purchase and found out she had bought the water heater at Home Depot I don't know if she ever told Lowes, but whenever anyone in our family needs a new water heater we call her and ask her if she can get us one from Lowes for free. dave
