Got a new cookbook, so trying out some new recipes. This one is awesome. Uses honey instead of sugar. It is just mildly sweet, I like that. It came out a little dry, but I can adjust for that.
Honey Raisin bars
3 eggs 1/3 cup butter 1 cup honey 1/2 cup milk 3 1/2 cups flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1 cup raisins
Preheat oven 375. Beat eggs. Stir in honey and butter. Add milk, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and raisins. Mix together and spoon into lightly greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 30 minutes or till done

Yum, going to have to try those! Wonder how it would be to use half honey and half molasses.
