Marion as in Lake Marion one of the two Santee Cooper lakes. I think (but don't know for sure) that it was named for Francis Marion who was also known as the Swamp Fox in the revolutionary War. So it would be a guys name.

I already knew what it was. Just giving you a hard time. Wasn't it during the Civil War and gave Sherman a hard time with his tactics..
